Net-Tech, a Seattle-area Professional Technology Organization (PTO), is proud to sponsor United Way of King County’s (UWKC) annual Day of Caring slated for Friday, Sept. 13. The Day of Caring pulls together teams of volunteers from across Washington to help hundreds of King County nonprofits with projects.
HELPING TO POWER A GLOBAL MOVEMENT
The 2018 Special Olympics USA Games took place July 2018 in Seattle, Wash., where more than 4,000 athletes and coaches representing all 50 states and the District of Columbia participated. Special Olympics is a global movement of people creating a new world of inclusion and community, where every single person is accepted and welcomed, regardless of ability or disability.
Seattle is home to hundreds of thriving nonprofit organizations, covering everything from the arts to providing much-needed services to the neediest among us. The city benefits from the generosity of different technology companies willing to provide free hardware and software for use by nonprofits.
Technology is the lifeline of any organization – for profit or not-for-profit. Most organizations rely heavily on technology to connect with customers, manage internal operations and to promote their services.
